During four months (July - October 2023) Anneke Eussen (NL) and Gert Robijns (BE), two artists with an international practice, take the initiative to explore the qualities of the region in which they are based: the so-called Euregio Meuse-Rhine. This region consists of the Province of Dutch Limburg, Region Aachen, Province de Liège, Deutschsprachige Gemeinschaft, Province of Belgian Limburg and Rheinland-Pfalz. In each part of the region, two locations are chosen and marked and explored by the artists through a movable artistic installation: Reset Mobile. This monumental circle made of parachute fabric is taken along during the journey through the Euregion, and symbolizes all the “winnings” in the region.
Throughout the Reset Mobile journey there are 3 central questions:
Who are we?
Why are we here?
What do we leave behind?
